Ladies we all NEED it! Period. I waited and waited for the urge to buy this one for very long...hoping that the urge will eventually die...but it didnt......and Now I am kickin my own butt for waiting so long Brick wall .....Now all my blushes look nice and totally different....And it is the softest brush ever to touch my face. i liked my BB blush brush but now I know that wont be used quite as much, if at all.

Lancome has a similar brush which is much cheaper...JFYI...MAC is quite expensive at HK$370 which is around US$47 here in HongKong but worth every penny.....and so far its not shedding on me but I havnt washed it yet. I havnt used it for anything except blush but supposedly its good for a whole bunch of other things eg. foundation, bronzer, highligher ....will update later for those. Love it.

Yes MAC is a bit more expensive in HK compared to US and Canada - it retails for 50CAD over here. I was actually recommended this by a MAC SA for concealer - I still like 242 the best EVER for concealer.

Can you elaborate a bit on the application effect of this? I'm assuming it should go on a bit more sheer. Does it streak? - it seems like a pretty thin brush - not a lot of fibres since this is a duo fibre brush rather than a natural hair brush.

Thanks for the review Smile

Hi sormuimui, I dont know how can one use it for concealer, maybe for larger areas like around the nose or mouth but I, for the life of mine wont be able to cover blemishes with this one...though I imagine it could be useful for blending.

for the blush, though, this is just perfect. yes, it gives a very sheer application which seem to melt in skin...and as cheesy as it sounds the glow seems to be coming from within Surprised, not at all streaky ....It is especially great for highly pigmented blushes...and for the sheer ones too, you can layer and get that 'glow from within'. and yes the white bristles on the top are not so dense and I think that is what gives such sheer application. I bought the MAC 187 too- but after a week or so,i returned it. my less expensive brushes produced the same results as the 187. maybe my blushes/bronzers are less pigmented -in this case the brush isnt needed? the MA at MAC said this brush is best used to apply/buff in liquid foundation? huh? i tried this application -but, again, didnt work as well as when i apply with my fingers. i REALLY wanted to like this brush! boo hoo. A LOT of ppl love it though.
