So I just got back.
The Beautician/aesthetician told me that my scarring is not that bad. not deep scarring/indents. and here I thought it was just horrible. I am sooooo critical of my skin!
She said its very shallow.
BUT she reckons that a 1.5mm would be too harsh for my skin. She said "you are a beautiful girl" and you dont want to mess up your skin by too much trauma using a 1.5mm.
She said its possible that I could get hyperpigmentation (I have light brown skin)
and I AM susceptible to hyperpigmentation
BUT...when I looked at the actual dermastamp 1.0mm and the 1.5mm, seriously it LOOKS like there is hardly any diff.
she said she would use the 1.5mm dermastamp onthe cheek area, but not on the forehead, cos the skin is too thin there. Do u guys agree on that??????? that I shouldnt use a 1.5mm on the forehead???
do you guys think I would get improvement/collagen rebuilding from a 1.0mm dermastamp or its a waste of time?
Warm Regards,
Storke |

Wanted to add that the cosmetician said that with a 1.0mm dermastamp, that I should stamp once - twice a week.
I kinda wondered about this.
would collagen be re-forming and if i do this sso frequently, would it not compromise the new collagen with frequent rolls? |
