I love their eyeshows, you may any color you dream there. One thing you should keep in mind, before you pay the money, try it on your eyes first. Usually, color looks beautiful doesn't mean it looks good on your skin tone. |

Bbiz,
I used to use their powder foundation (I think it's called Studio Fix?). I remember liking it but I think I had to touch up around mid-day. One thing that it really had going for it was that it was so quick and easy to do! But on the other hand, sometimes it was hard not to make it look too powdery on your face.
At the moment tinted moisturisers seem to be my thing but I have not tried the MAC one. I can highly recommend the Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture with SPF15 though

bbiz, I have a lot of MAC eye shadows and love them. I use a lot of matte and satin shades. There are so many colors to choose from so is best to visit a counter to find what works for your coloring but you can also email a makeup artist at maccosmetics.com and they will reply back with suggestions.
amerie, is the blot powder cakey at all? Studio Fix is OK but a little powdery and when touched up it begins to look cakey. I heard about blot powder but never tried. Does it come in different shades or is it translucent? Thanks. |

The Sheer Tint comes in three (from memory): light, medium and dark. There is also an untinted version as well. I think there has been a review of the medium shade of the Sheer Tint here just recently.
The Sheer Tint is a great tinted moisturiser option, but may not be as pigmented as some of the other moisturisers though (at least in the 'light' version). It suits me though so I'm happy with it

The e/s are great, especially Vanilla. It is a great universal shade that can be used as a highlite on the browbone, and I sometimes use it as a lightener if I have dark circles. I have purchased for years. Also I used to use their StudioFix for about 9yrs, but found that it can turn orange and cakey throughout the day, I recently changed to Mineral Makeup, and man, what a difference. Hope this helps!! |

I just purchased the tinted moisturizer at MAC, I tried the color at the counter and thought that it matched, and I was expecting a fresh look with it, it did when I applied it in the morning, but as the day went on, I found that the color turned dull.. it's like oxidized!
I havent tried any of those foundation, maybe those are the better options!
Thanks for all the information here.. such a great help! : )
I think I will check out the Demologica's tinted thing later .. |
