So, hmmmm how long does it take to put one's "face" on? I put VitC, moisturizer, (now primer), foundation, concealer, mascara and lip balm. Total = 7 min. After reading around, I get the impression that I'm like the fat guy in Monty Python film who puts all the food in a bucket and mixes it before eating. Do you wait in-between each layer? And, if so, how long? |

I always give my Vit.C at least 10 mins. to absorb before applying my other products. If I'm not rushed I'll give it 15-20 mins. |

Ha!
I was told on The SkinCare Board that you should wait 30 minutes after applying AHAs or BHAs before putting anything over it....that's a long time to be waiting around though, I like to do it all in 15-20 minutes and be done with it! Their reasoning was that it takes that long for it to fully absorb and do it's job.
I use Obagi now, and if I were to wait that long in between each product, I'd have to get up around 6:00 just to wash my face and stuff. |

You kill me!
I do wait in between applications. There is no way I wait this long after applying AHAs though - 5 minutes max if it's in the morning. I tend to use them at night though, in which case I do get back half an hour later and apply other stuff (unless I'm tired and it's late, in which case I refer to the morning habits ). |

Oh no, I just slap on my TNS Recovery, Proheal or Super Serum and then the Hydra Cool right over it. Then at night the Actvie Serum followed up by the new JB night cream. I am supposed to wait in between layers??? Oh no!!!! |

I put on a layer and brush my teeth and put on body lotion; put on another layer and make my bed. I do the next layer and do my hair. Last layer and get my clothes and dress. ... Finally I put on my makeup. I probably don't wait long enough between layers, but otherwise, I'd just slap it all on at once too. |

There needs to be a later shift for me at work. Does this mean all this time my serums were not used properly? That's a lot of skincare $$$ and I don't normally wear makeup, otherwise that's even more time to get ready. Wow, looking good sure takes a lot of dedication. |

After I tone I apply C Serum, then I wait about 30mins to an hour. Then I apply Ylang Ylang oil, wait 20 mins, then I apply sunscreen, wait at least 10 mins. Then I apply makeup if I am wearing it that day. |
