Has anyone here used both of these and which did you prefer and why? Thanks! |

Hi lily - I've used Super Serum (my first Vit.C serum) and it was nice but it turned orange about 2/3 of the way through the bottle. So then I switched to SkinCeuticals CE+Ferulic and it turned yellow before I finished it. They have similar textures. But I've stuck with SC and now I keep it in the refrigerator. Of the 2, I prefer SC -- only because they claim Ferulic offers superior photo-protection.
BUT during humid weather, I've switched to SC Serum20 AOX (also contains Ferulic) and like it -- it's a bit less oily. If you want a richer serum (AOX is watery compared to ISC SS or even SC CE+Ferulic) or need more moisturization, I'd use the others. Since I use oily sunscreen, I'm sticking with SC AOX for summer.
I'd keep any Vit.C serum you select in your refrigerator (a tip from another forum member but I can't remember who) -- for me, this has made a huge difference in the longevity of the product. |
