I bought it because I heard people here raving about it but I have to say, it turned *very* orange on me within minutes of me putting it on. That's never happened with any other Mineral product.
I have very fair skin and at first, the colour and coverage seemed great. But the turning orange thing I can't get over. And I tried different forumals and their concealor. It's a shame because it didn't make me break out like some other mineral makeups but too bad about the colour. |

What shades did you get alexthegirl? I haven't had that problem but I know that some have this problem with normal or mineral foundation. |

I just received my package from Everyday Minerals and so far I LOVE it! It hasn't changed colour on me (I was using Amazing Cosmetics mineral foundation, but I think it turned a little yellow on me throughout the day). I've tried the Semi-matte (in Fair) so far which I love ... a nice glow but not over the top (but I'm anxious to try the matte as well. I think the semi-matte might be nice in winter and maybe the matte for the summer). One thing I've noticed is that it doesn't look as bad under my eyes as the Amazing did. I used the Sunlight colour corrector over my dark circles, and then brushed the mineral foundation over top. This wears really well ... I don't have the little cracks showing up like I did half way through the day when I wore the Amazing Concealer under the Amazing foundation. I also find the coverage seems a bit better than Amazing.
I'm very happy with everything I ordered, except the brushes do seem a little cheaply made (but then again they cost hardly nothing!). I bought one of the kits, so I got 3 blushes, 4 eye shadows, finishing powder (which I haven't tried yet), concealer and the two foundations and brush. |

I have the Semi-Matte version and it did turned orangey/darker for me. I read somewhere from this site (another thread) that certain MMU and sunscreen will interfer each other. I had Neutrogena Sunscreen under the MMU. Not sure if that is the reason. I didn't feel this way when I was using BE prior switching to Everyday Minerals.
To be honest, the colors weren't a good match to my skintone to start with.. thus, I have ordered other shades and see if it works better. I will also add the Jurlique Rose Silk Dust after the sunscreen but before MMU and see if it helps. Will update once I receive the new shades. |
