I have dry skin on my knees and they are very dark - I was curious to know if anybody knows of a cream that would nicely moisturize and turn my knees back to their original skin. I am tanning and i dont want them to get so dark to the point where I can't fix it! Maybe a vitamin E cream? Maybe its dark because of my italian heritage- heck I dont know! HELP! haha |

i have the same thing, with both my knees and elbows.
i have found that since i've started using a micro fibre cloth to wash with my elbows and knees have been smoother and lighter.
i think part of why it's darker is because the skin is thicker there. or at least that's part of my problem. |

I agree with pustekuchen. I think that rubbing them down well with a cloth (or maybe using any type of exfoliant) will help. |

I'd definitely go for exfoliation. I use Marc Jacobs exfoliation for my whole body, it has relatively large granules that can get rid of dead skin. Also try using the dry brush method. After shower, dry your skin thoroughly, then brush with a firm brush. Do this daily and it should help with the situation. good luck! |
