Hey Everyone!
I'm not too sure if this post should be attached to another discussion thread, but I figured it would be best to post it where everyone would see it!
I have been lurking around this website for about 2 months now and am finding it so educational and inspirational!!!
I have begun to use OCM to wash my face at night, but am wondering if there is anything I can add to my recipe to help "emulsify" it a bit... my main goal with this would be to help make removal a bit easier. I find wiping my face with flannel/warm water a bunch of times to be too rough.
Any suggestions would be great!
I am currently using castor oil/grape seed oil/tea tree oil and ylang ylang.
Thanks! |

Hmm, try cutting the grapeseed a bit and adding a lighter oil, cammelia or rosehip perhaps?
We have a resident oil expert here Wildflower who would probably be better to answer. But I included a recent thread that may assist you.

Thanks Candy8865!
I did try the Jojoba oil and it was not nearly as "sticky" as the grapeseed oil, which makes it easier to remove!
I also began to follow my OCM with dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel to help work the last bits of oil off my skin without having to wipe my face so many times! I found this helped a lot! |

I found that using an ACV toner after my OCM helps to remove the oil too. It's also super inexpensive. |
