Even though I love rose-scented products, I avoided this product for years because somehow I got it into my head that products with alcohol in them would be too harsh for my sensitive skin. However, after finding EDS I fell in love with the Dr. Hauschka toner with contains alcohol and is still very gentle, so I thought I would give the Burt's Bees one a try too.
Actually, right now the three main toners I'm using all contain alcohol (Dr. H, Burt's Bees, and PTR Gentle Cleansing Pads--- review forthcoming), and I believe they have really been instrumental in getting my acne under control. These 3 toners are all quite gentle, but they are especially helpful in keeping bacteria out of my pores so I have less acne to deal with. Especially after I do extractions I know that it's just a bacteria party on my face, so I'm very glad to have these toners.
So, why do I love the Rosewater and Glycerin toner? Simple. It smells just heavenly, it's incredibly gentle (doesn't make my face feel tight or dry), it helps with my acne AND it's all natural with no parabens. The ingredients are:
Rose Water, SD Alcohol 40B (from yellow corn), Vegetable Glycerin, Cornflower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Witch Hazel, Yucca Schidigera Extract
It's very affordable too, less than $10US a bottle! |

I've got a couple of samples of the Rosewater toner and I'm getting a small spray bottle from the pharmacy to pour them into. I love the smell of roses. |
