When coloring my hair I always get some on my skin and around hairline. How in the world do I remove?
I even bought one of those little wipes that 'supposedly' remove haircolor from skin but it didn't work.
I know it will eventually come off in a day but If I'm going out the same day I'd like it off.
Thanks. |

Maybe with some olive oil? Then exfoliate. |

Next time put vaseline around your hairline.
Olive oil is good - just don't get it on your hair as it is a good hair colouring remover. |

I know it sounds harsh but I get the same thing and Oxyclean works for me. I just put a little in warm water then use a towel and rub it lightly on my hairline. It does turn red for a bit but that will go away. I have also used those little razors that my eyebrow girl uses to "shave" off the dyed hairs. I have VERY pale skin and I dye my hair black so it is more than a littl noticeable. I know these sound harsh but they work for me. |

I have heard that Avon's Skin So Soft (original) bath oil does the trick. |

Comet cleanser works for me and scrub it on! Its only on for a few moments but it really does get the dye off your skin. |

If you take a bit of the haircolor on a cotton ball and rub it into the areas where color has stained your skin it will come right off.

Baby oil mixed with a little of my skin cleanser seems to work, and it's gentle on my skin. |

Wipe it clean before it dries. I use alcohol around my hairline right after I apply the hair color. Takes it right off. |

Hair stylists use this method all the time! Mine always says "color removes color." I have a horrible time if any of the color gets on my face (my neck isn't so bad). It usually takes a few days of good exfoliating before it comes off. So now my stylist is alwasy extremely careful around my hairline. |
