Skin: Combo/Prone to cystic acne and clogged pores on cheeks
Pangea Italian Red Mandarin w/ Roses Moisturizer: Bought this on a “natural” kick and I must say I LOVE IT!!! I prefer a moisturizer that sinks in and does not feel greasy at all. I wear makeup over my skincare and I like something that does not make me an oil slick by noon…this moisturizer fits the bill. The best part about this moisturizer is that it has also managed to clear my skin!!! I still have a few stubborn clogs but for the most part my skin is smooth and clear. The 3 cystic acne spots that had been lingering for months have almost completely healed and I could not be happier. I can also tell that my skin does look more radiant and even toned (which is a miracle). I use a few sprays of the toner and while my face is still damp I apply 2 pumps of the moisturizer for my neck and face. I think the toner really helps “up” the moisture level and I feel that in the winter this will be a must. The moisturizer is very fragrant but I think you should expect that given the fact that the whole idea is treating skin with the healing properties of herbs/plants. It does have a very strong citrus/floral smell but it dissipates quickly. The bottle is dark glass with a pump dispenser which locks when you turn it to one side. Not really good for travel but I’ve had no issues so far…just makes me nervous. The only down side I can see with this moisturizer is that I’m a little worried that it may not be enough moisture in the winter…but we shall see.
Pangea French Rosemary w/ Sweet Orange Toner: I’m not a huge toner person and I really only use them when I need to add a little moisture (usually keep a bottle by my desk at work during the winter) but this one is different. I really feel like its treating my skin. I use a few sprays on my face then blot with a towel/tissue and then spray again and apply my moisturizer. Again, this toner is very fragrant but its supposed to be so just expect it. It is also in a thick, dark , glass bottle which does not make it great for travel but no problems yet. Its pretty $$ for a toner so I will probably keep something else at my desk during the winter but this will be in my bathroom for a while because I’m loving the results.
Overall, highly recommed these products and will be trying many more from this line. |

Nice to see that you're loving Pangea's products as much as I am! I also have a little problem with my clogged pores, flaky and sensitive skin. I've been using their facial mask and not only does it cleanse my pores, but exfoliates and makes it all smooth Yes, their products are quite costly but I say it is all worth it for the quality that they give you |

Oh, Ladies, I LOVE Pangea Organics!!!! I have everything they make, and I also think that their toner/moisturizer combos are very healing: it's all that natural goodness, But when someone asks me what one product to try, I always say the mask! No matter what my skin is doing: oily, dry, irritated, broken out, etc. that mask fixes it right up! I like to do the scrub then the mask then use the toner, and for a change, put on some botanical oils while the toner is still wet: I use argan, tamanu, carrotseed, and a teeny bit of Decleor's Ylang Ylang mixture. Oh boy, is that nice.
I love their soaps-I use 'em for hand soap, and shower gels - the Canadian Pine will make you head for the north country.
The body lotion is a big surprise too - like the facial cream, it's very light, almost like a gel, but incredibly moisturizing. They smell nice too without being girly.
One thing I must ask though is that you check out SoapHope.com. The sell PO and other great brands except this guy (the Owner) is doing something outrageous and very impressive. Ottawa, the mask is their best product, so you don't need anything else for now. Whatever is wrong, that mask will help. I LOVE it! Enjoy! |

SoCalGal...thanks for the tip! I will check out that website. I also love their bar soaps...the scents are out of this world and they linger a bit which is nice since I'm not really a perfume girl. I have also been thinking about trying the scrub and mask...will buy them on my next splurge.
Glad these products are getting some love. I had to do a review because I had not heard a lot of buzzz about them....and I hate when great companies with great products get ignored. |
