I've just started using the Sunkiller Clearwater Sunscreen which I got off Ebay, since it's so hard to get hold of. I'm really pleased with the product itself, but it's such a small bottle. I'm worried i'm not using enough to give me full coverage, just to save the little that's in the bottle!
I know a few of you here are using the Sunkiller, so how much are you using to cover your face, and how long is each bottle lasting you? |

Does anyone happen to have a complete ingredient list of the Clearwater?
I'd say I use about a quarter teaspoon of this on my face, give or take. I'm on my first bottle and I alternate with other sunscreens so I can't say how long this will last.... |

Is eBay the only place to buy this sunscreen? I'd like to check it out further, too, but would like to price shop other sites to see the best deal. |

Hi marci65, I offered to purchase Sunkiller for our members some time ago before it is available on Ebay. If there are still some members interested in getting it I am happy to make purchases again.
Here's the old thread:

Thanks for that very generous offer CK! Right now, I've got a good supply of s/s, but I am going to check out the Sunkiller stuff a bit more for a possible future purchase. I will get back in touch with you when I'm ready to buy, to see if it might be possible for you to help me at that point. I just love the name of that product! LOL! |

The ingredients for Clearwater are:
Cyclomethicone, water, zinc oxide, octyl methoxycinnamate, butylene glycol, polymethyl methacrylate, alcohol, octyl palmitate, dimenthicone copolyol, trimethylsiloxysilicate, methicone, quarternium - 18 hectorite, methylparaben, bht, tannic acid, disodium edta, nylon-12, zirconium dioxide, scutellaria bicalensis extract.
I don't use Clearwater because it leaves a white-ish cast on me, which I am really sensitive about. I have been using Sunkiller's lift-tight skin tone milk 135, but only around my eyes because it also leaves me pale.
Also, I am concerned that these sunscreens utilize octyl methoxycinnamate (the skin-tone milk uses eththexyl methocinnamate) which I believe is supposed to bad, causes free radical damage? (I read that on another post).
BTW - Lots of thanks to CK for graciously purchasing these for me on my behalf! A truly sweet person!! |
