I got this duo with my last EDS order and i am so glad i did! I had seen the actual duo at sephora but thought hey, why purchase there when i can get it through EDS for a lower price? the colors are beautiful, you get one slate blue and the other a grey/greenish color. They aren't sparkly, but the colors are also not completely matte. i would say they have a very nice sheen to them. the texture is definitely great, it blends nicely, and is soft and not too chalky at all. I get adequate color with one sweep, but since i prefer to wear my eye makeup a lot darker than most gals, i probably swipe the tin with my brush 2 times. see colors here: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/cargo-eyeshadow-duos-p_5312.htm
The packaging--i don't like so much, because like cargo lip glosses, the packaging is made of metal and you won't be able to see which colors you're getting without reading the bottom of the tin if you have multiple eyeshadows. i only have this one, so it's not a problem yet.
i really love the colors in this duo and i must mention that omaha also got 100% approval on MUA also. anyway, i think the colors would be flattering on probably everybody, kudos to cargo for this one! now, i am thinking of getting the cargo woodstock palette. . |

I bought the Cargo Woodstock palette with a recent order and the colours are beautiful! I love all the colours in this compact. Unfortunately I have too many eye shadows already so I only wear it every now and then.
I agree with you about the silver containers they use for the dual shadows. I have one that I'd bought at Sephora a little while back and I love the colours (I think it might have been Oregon), but I wish I could see the colours in my makeup case too. |

Moonstarr--i, too have so many, but i keep acquiring them because i simply can't help it. i do try to avoid buying similar colors. you have got me thinking of the woodstock palette again. are the colors similar in texture to the duos? i tend to stay away from matte eyeshadows and like a little sheen to them. |

Yes, they all have a little shimmer to them (I love colours with shimmer too!). What I found though is that if I apply them with my eyeshadow brush, the colour seems to go on fairly sheer (even if I layer it). This morning I used my finger to apply the shadow and ended up with a much nicer, richer colour. For some reason the colours from the Cargo duo I have seems to go on richer than the Woodstock palette even when applied with a brush, although both seem to feel like the same texture. |
