I would say Angelina Jolie is sexy (I think she's so beautiful ... I'm jealous Sad ) and for cute ... I think someone like Reece Witherspoon is totally cute.

I think it's better not to define a woman that way. There was an article in Allure once that put women into three different catagories-- Pretty, cute, or sexy. Ridiculous! If a woman's beautiful, say she's beautiful! Anything else is semantics.

yeah i really hate the seperations. i think cute is a "sweet" or round look and sexy is a sleek and long look.. i duno man.. i notice usually when guys say someone is sexy they are overall longer and sleeker looking.. like longer face, slim and lean/long body (with huge tits and ass of course Rolling Eyes) and cute is usually someone who looks more innocent and sweet but still very attractive

I think it depends on what one person views cute, pretty or sexy as. My BF once said he thinks I am "pretty cute". Well for me, the pretty part of the cute, down plays it. He said that is his description of HOT. He says Pretty Cute to him is the top of any description

Well, if you're talking about celebrities, I always thought people like Bridget Bardot, Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch were considered sexy (in their day), while others like Sally Fields, Sandra Dee, and Annette Funicello were considered cute. Just my 2 cents Smile

I totally agree...Kat is very sexy/cool. I think that's one of the main reasons I watch Miami Ink! I think Angelina also falls into this category...As for cute - puppies, kittens and of course anything young/blonde/dimples, say Shirley Temple-like??? hmm

I think another question is "Which would you rather be?"

i would rather be average because then you are not judged too harshly either way and you can shine through your character and personality.

I notice when guys say "sexy" they are usually talking about someone who is trying to put on the vamp. Not just the look, but playing it up. As Angelina (I am not a fan), Pamela Anderson, Fergie... all do. Many men seem to LIKE that tartster look.

And "cute" will often be someone fresher and more sporty-lookin'.

What about someone, however, like Jennifer Tilly? To me, she is both sexy and cute, like an old school starlet, come to think of it -- Marilyn, for example -- also sexy and cute.

I guess it's a sort of evolution of sexy. Now you aren't sexy any more unless you look as though you charge by the act and the hour. Rolling Eyes
