i just ran out of psf o2 serum and its so pricy i cant afford it for a while.. i really need a anti-bacterial spray or toner. i asked eds live help for some recs but they emailed me a bunch of acne cleansers and kits instead! not what i asked for and i dont want to hassle them again. thanks in advance and i appreciate everyone on this board sharing their knowledge and help!  |

| Perhaps you can look into the other oxygen spray from Zenbiotic (www.zenbiotic.com). It's much cheaper and comes in a 2oZ bottle. I am planning to purchase that when my PSF O2 runs out as well. |

| You really can not do better than plain old Witch Hazel for an effective anti bacterial Toner. |

| Absolutely try the Zenbiotic O2 spray. It's only like $12 for a bottle twice as big. I've been using it since I discovered and it really is almost as good as the PSF version. Another goodie to try is Burt's Bees Rosewater and Glycerin toner. It's antibacterial and good for acne, but it's also very gentle and smells so lovely! It's also very affordable, about $8 I think. HTH! |

Sucks to live in Canada. I went to check out the BB Rosewater and Glycerin Toner the other day and it costs 23.99CAD!!!  |

| I've been debating whether or not to buy the Zenbiotic one. Is it safe to use? I've been using the PSF O2 spray, but I suppose I've just heard so many things about products that actually cause skin to age, and damage cells that I don't want to use something and then find out down the line that it was counter productive. |

| Witch hazel is to drying for almost all skin types. Lavender and tea tree are anti- bac. I work for elemis. We have a great lavender spray toner with no alcohol. |

Have you used the PTR Oxygen spray? How was it? I ordered it from the Medispastore because it was 40% off. I couldn't find many reviews on it. |

I thought what really made Witch Hazel toner drying was the alcohol content ...that most contain it but there are toners (such as a hydrosol) with Witch Hazel as the only content.  My mom tells me that when she was growing up my grandma used witch hazel as a toner. She can't remember what brand or if it had anything else in it (I wish my grandma were around so I could ask her but she passed away when I was 4). Anyway, my grandma's skin was not oily so she must have been able to use it without it drying out her skin. OR (it just dawned on me) perhaps the witch hazel really helped keep her oilies away??? I'll have to help my mom remember the skin products my grandma used. I might be on to something here. 
I also think a tea tree hydrosol would be good as well.
I know that the PSF O2 spray has a special oxygen ingredient (i.e., it does not contain hyrdogen peroxide). Does the zenbiotic spray contain the same type of oxygen? I'll have to check that product out... |

What is zenbiotic's website? I tried going to zenbiotic.com but it leads to a weird website. There's a link at the bottom of the page that when you click on it, it says that the domain has expired.... does this mean that this skincare line has expired?
Or where can you find the products? |

| Hi amnis! I had trouble getting to their website too and I totally panicked--- how was I going to get my beloved Zenbiotic products now?? But I called their tollfree number and they said that everything is fine, they are just having some technical difficulties. In the meantime, if anyone wants to order from them let me know, I'll tell you their number. |

Could you do me a favor and post the ingredients on the Zenbiotic O2 spray? I am so curious.
Btw, I can't remember what you use for a day and night time moisturizer (with out going back through old posts...). I was curious about that too. I also can't remember if you have oily skin. (Sorry!) It's just that it sounds like we have similar skin and I am always curious to hear about what works well for others. Plus you are also using Taz.

Yes I used to use it and it is very good. However, that was a while ago. Last time I bought spritz it was last winter, I bought the C one as my skin was dehydrated, that lasted a long time, and I haven't been using 'toner' since then. However, I now have the oxygen sitting in my EDS basket for my next order. When I have my facials at Spa NK, if my skin has had extraction, my facialist always puts this oxygen spritz on it afterwards for its antibacterial properties.
I love the PTR range (though it's like a 50% of the range is absolutely brill and 50% not so brill - it's v interesting looking at the reviews on make up alley). Also I think it's fantastic value for a premium range. And they're so helpful if you email in. Even at UK silly prices, as PTR stuff lasts so long it's worth it. But as I have been getting it from the US for some time (now Canada through EDS), it's really good value  |

No problem! The ingredients for the Zenbiotic Oxygen Spray are: Pure, highly charged mineral water and electrolytes. Definitely not as technical as the PSF version, but it seems to be getting the job done!
And yes, as you remembered, I'm using Tazorac. (Good memory!!!) My skin type is way, way oily in the summer and then pretty dry in the winter. As for what I've been using for a moisturizer recently, I've been using two things: La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluid, and Zenbiotic Phyto Moisturizer Spray. I love the LRP because it's ulra-light so it doesn't clog my pores, and it's easy to mix with the Taz (I do this some nights.) On the othr hand, I really love the Zenbiotic stuff because it's surprisingly quite moisturizing (I sometimes use it as a boost if the LRP isn't cutting it on its own), and it seems to help heal blemishes. The ingredients for the Phyto moisture are: purified water, witch hazel, strawberry, cucumber, plant proteins, vitamin e, and vegetable glycerin. HTH!! |

... I wonder what "highly charged" means exactly... perhaps that the O2 spray has a high electron count or something? Is NaPCa (is that right?... you know that sodium salt that one can use as a moisturizer...) an electrolyte? If so, I wonder if this is the electrolyte in Zenbiotic's spray?
Thanks for including the ingredients for your Zenbiotic moisturizer... you read my mind . Perhaps that will go on my list of things to try...
Btw, is Zenbiotic a Canadian brand? I wonder why I haven't seen or heard much about it. |

| As far as I know, Zenbiotic is a US brand. It's a very small company--- I had never heard of it til I saw someone mention it on this board, and so I checked it out and found that some of their products agree with me. I hope their website is back up soon! |

| Good news!! The Zenbiotic website is back up! I def. recommend checking it out, if only for the O2 serum and Phyto moisture--- they are shamefully cheap for what they deliver!^-^ |
