Hi there,
Just thought I would share my recent mascara find after trying everything out there. I was into Diorshow for a while but could not deal with the clumpy, overdone look esp. for day. I got a sample of Estee Lauder Illusionist Intense Curling Mascara in Intense Black in a promotion and I have to say it is the best I have used. All the ads claim no clumping, curling and lengthening but guess what - it is a lie for most of them! This mascara is so natural looking yet it plumps even the tiniest ones really well and the overall look is fluffy rather than spider legs or dirty brush. It also a truly buildable look. Apply a few more coats for night with a tightline liquid eyeliner and a slight flick at the ends and it is lovely. Also, it lasts a really long time without clumping in the tube!
Maybe my HG? Only downside, not waterproof! |

Hi Blacklace, Have you tried Blinc mascara. If yes, how do you compare the 2? I can see from Strawberrynet.com that this mascara also comes in a waterproof version. Maybe worthwhile to check . |

Blacklace....Good to know about the Estee Lauder mascara but since I started using Revitalash, I never buy expensive mascara anymore. My lashes have lengthened (and filled out?) so much, that ANY ol' mascara will do. My favorite cheapo is Loreals Voluminous with the curved brush. If it wasn't for the Revitalash, I would probably be heading for the Estee Lauder counter right now!!! |

I use Estee Lauder 'More Than Mascara'. If you have ever tried this how would say it compares to the Illusionist? |

Hmmnn the "More than Mascara" sounds intriguing! But don't tempt me. I just bought this one full size tube.
Sorry, I have not tried "Blinc" to be honest so can't compare.
Mountaingirl, my patience with JM and vaseline on my lashes have really filled them out as well...a real dramatic difference thanks to all the gals here at EDS.
I have ordered Revitalash after my sis got great results with it but the British post has lost my last TWO orders from EDS!!! |
