I'll try to make this short, as I tend to ramble when I talk about makeup! In short, I got suckered into buying a bunch of this makeup. I had some before they revamped it; I really liked their lipsticks and still have one cream lipstick that's wonderful. And the girl at the counter told me most of the makeup is the same they just put it in new packaging and gave it racy names. So here's what I got:
Sheer Lipstick in Sinful: First off, I don't care for the new packaging on the lipsticks. Before, they came in silver metal bullets. Now they are in squat black plastic things. But this lipstick is neat beacause it looks black in the tube, but when I put it on it's a sheer berry color that can be layered. It's smooth like a balm but has nice pigment. Moisturizing as well.
Lipgloss in Hotpants: This was free with purchase (now you know how I got suckered). But it's really nice. The consistency is smooth though it's filled with glitter and not sticky at all. It doesn't dry up or pill during the day, and it's also moisturizing. It's not scented. They have a lot of really pretty colors as well, some nice pinky peaches I have my eyes on.
Eyeshadow mosaic in Satisfied (grays): I can't speak of staying power as I use it with primer, but the colors are very pigmented and pick up on the brush well. The compact it comes in is neat. When you look in the mirror, it says 'very sexy' underneath your face. I have a feeling with this one, you're paying for packaging.
And finally Glitter Eyeliner in... well, the purple one: I got this free because I had a $10 gift card for my bday. I think this and the lipgloss are my two favorites. This goes on creamy and can be smudged or just drawn on. The glitter doesn't migrate, pretty much sticks where you want it. You also get a lot-- a full-sized pencil, not one of those short pencils. I don't advise heating it up between your fingers (like I do with some liners) because it will get melty and you'll have glitter blobs on your eyes.
Ok, hope that wasn't too long! |
