This product is NOT a gimmick despite (my) first impressions. It removes ALL my make-up with no need for any form of liquid -- water, toner, make-up remover, etc. That said, you can still dab some on the mitt, and it'll work its magic all the better. Your skin is left clean and clear, more effective than the mess and tugging that comes with the pads and toners. I can't help but rave about this one, I've used it to remove everything from eye-liner and mascara to medium-heavy foundation. Wash and go, it's very easy to care for and looks good as new after a few weeks of heavy use! Well worth its small price-tag, the saving on toners alone makes it a must-buy. Plus the no-tug factor! Love it! |

I totally agree, I bought this a few weeks ago and never would have believed a 'flannel' would work so well. |

How do you keep it sterile, so to speak? |

Wow, I've seen this in the JI product listing but I always just ignored it because I thought it was a bit gimmicky. Incidentally, has anyone tried the Eve Lom cloths at all? If so then how does the JI mitt compare to those?
I have the Eve Lom cloth and I used to use it quite a bit but have gone off it because you need to wash the thing (in the washing machine) every 2-3 times you use it. It also looks a bit icky after just a few washes if you use it to take off all your makeup inlcuding mascara (which I did). The mascara and eyeliner stains never quite wash out of this cloth 100%... |

I wash my JI mitt in my facial gel cleanser, the instructions said to to use liquid soap, but as I wouldn't use that on my face I'm certainly not going to use it was my face cloth!!! |
