I just started a similar thread in the Lounge. It's obvious what this person is trying to do. In the meantime, she's abusing the forum and wasting our time.
We rely on each other for substantive information, feedback and help. Most people abide by this purpose and principle.
She contradicts the spirit of this forum. I hope she stops posting -- her remarks are worthless. |

i was wondering who else had gone absolutely mad with her posts! then i started wondering why Molly hadn't said a thing, since she's always so wonderfully out-spoken. i shouldn't have doubted you, Molly. you're my hero!
would someone just give the **** (fill in the stars) her freakin' 15% discount if she promises never EVER to post again??? |

Yeah! I'm so happy to see that this came up in this section. When I saw all of ParsleyThyme's non-posts and  in the product info. section, I started to get ticked off...I then told myself, ok calm down Mammamia it's a forum don't get upset...but now I'm relieved that others were getting upset too! Molly, you go girl! |

It's getting to be ridiculous. This:  is not a very helpful post! I'm pretty new here and would LOVE to boost my post count so I can get a larger discount, but I wouldn't be dishonest enough to do it in such a way. I'd prefer my posts are at least related to the topic at hand!
Will EDS ban people? If not, maybe it's time they do. It's gross misuse of a wonderful perk put in place for CONTRIBUTING forum members and shouldn't be allowed.

Unfortunately parsleythyme did not realize that she is also triggering e-mail notifications to hundreds of members with every "none-post" post. I had to temporarily disable her account.
I also cleened up as much as I could. Thank you for reporting it. |

I wondered at some of her posts. They seemed a little wierd. Now, I know.
We should be careful, though. We don't want to be exclusive. Maybe she just doesn't know the system here. Heaven knows, it's taking me a long time to figure it out! I took me about three months before I figured out the whole discount thing! I marveled at how my number went from 5% to 10% but had no clue why.
Then again, it's really inane when people post silly posts just to up their number. I sure would like to post more but it's so hard with my lack of time to write. I usually am putting my baby asleep while I read everyone elses posts. I'm grateful to all of you who take the time to write so much!!!!!! It's so time consuming for me, I often have to pass on contributing even if I have something real valid to say that might be helpful. If ever I reach that 15% number, I will be so happy just cuz I managed to stick it out long enough! Of course, it should take me another year or so.... It's a good thing lots of you contribute regularly or the rest of us would have nothing to read. Thanks!! |

Honestly Ellyp if you'd seen her 'comments' you'd realise she knew exactly what they were doing. She was just adding smileys and 'really's, 3 words at one time seemed to be a major achievement ......
I've never had my words edited before. Is 'SHUT UP' really so offensive across the pond because it's nothing here?
