It sounds silly, but I konw nothing about the industry. On the package you usually see "distributed by XXX" but I assume that it does mean they are nade there. Is it possible that many different products are made in the same factory? I mean, may be different companies give different formulas, but assign them to a very small number of manufacturers? Just curious. |

Hi Ahau,
The products that show the distribution location are more than likely mixed and packaged in a facility that is not owned by the company.
It can be quite expensive and there are special considerations on how the facilities that prepare the products need to be kept so it is generally easier and cheaper for companies to "rent out" a trusted facility to prepare their formulations.
Take care.
