Plenty of choices for facial care, but what about total body care? Firming, moisturizing and ant-aging? Please help! |

Through my research, I've found out that Nuxe is very promising
http://www.nuxe.com/
For cellulite it is Nuxe or Cellex-C body smoothing cream. EDS staff strongly suggested Cellex-C. I don't think they are familiar with Nuxe.
In fact, when TheresaL has the time, can you tell me what you think of Nuxe body care? |

I heard great reviews on Clarita and I think it is over $600.00
Oparah, gave it out to all the people who went to her show. I looked into it but not sure if I want to buy it. |

I don't like Oprah so I try my best not to follow anything she says. I know I'm being childish, but I just don't like her. |

Skincare I have bought from different merchants that carry the Nuxe brand and have received numerous samples of their skincare. I have tried a few and they did not irritate my skin. Despite the way this product is being marketed as "natural" it has truly scary amounts of chemicals! I take one look at most of the Nuxe samples I receive and after reading a long list of chemicals just throw them away without even trying them. |

bex I don't think you are being childish at all. I used to read the Oprah magazine and occasionally watch her show. I guess you could say I was a fan. At one point I read one of her writings in the magazine (the very last page-it has been so long since I have read her magazine that I forget what it is called!) and it suddenly struck me how egotistical she was. The signs were there all along that this was the case but I guess I ignored them until I read her one article. When I mentioned it to my husband he said that he suspected it all along because she was on the cover of the magazine every month. Just think about it-even Martha Stewart didn't put herself on the cover of her magazine every month. I will stop now. You can obviously tell I am no Oprah fan!! |

I'm loving the Weleda products I purchased a couple of weeks ago. Birch Oil (cellulite oil for thighs and bum) and the Baby lotion (for all over body). I'm loving the smell/hydration/company/price!! |

I love DDF 12.5% glycolic lotion. It has done wonders for my hands and arms. I also like Candy's new products and use her shea "body butter" over the glycolic and her HA hand cream during the day.
All of these products are reasonably priced and effective for me. Candy also customizes scents. |

Here's another vote for Aveeno. It's much more affordable than Oprah's $600 cream. I mean, who but Oprah can use that expense on a regular basis? |

Oprah..........still don't like her. Why can't she make reasonable recommendations? |

Ok, well, I know you don't like Oprah, but I love Philosophy body care products (they're always on her "Favorite Things" lists). I feel weird if I run out of the 3-in-1 shower gel and the Falling in Love scent is one of my favorites. The hot salt scrubs are fabulous as well. |

I like the Philosophy line also...don't they make another line...maybe Obagi...I know it's a line sold in a doctor's office.....I saw a special on Tv once about their company. I guess I could look it up instead of asking what their other line is...lol...being lazy! |

I've tried Aveeno and for some reason it seems a little thick, it's still in my washroon sitting there, I should give it another whirl I suppose. |

Bex, I've been considering the same thing. I've read that a lot of facial care items can be used on the body, esp. on areas that show age like hands, neck, decolletage, etc. For that reason, I've been playing with the idea of trying some Green Apple Peel on my hands sometime--- couldn't hurt, right?
Also, in the grocery store today I saw that Avalon Organics has a co-Q-10 firming body lotion. It had a lot of good-for-your-skin ingredients, so it seemed like it would be great for anti-aging care for your body.
Lastly, while I was browsing around on the zenbiotic website I noticed that they have a Body Milk Moisturizer that they say does for your body what their Cell Renewal Serum does for your face. Very tempting! |
