Well I have tried a host of things and spent a small fortune and just can't seem to get it right. I am 34, have fine lines, but mostly dryness which accenuates the lines especially with makeup on. My holy grail would be a hydrating concealer but they all seem to be very drying.
When I use a hydrating eye cream (for the dryness) - it makes me puffy as all you know what in the morning.
When I use something to de-puff, it dries out my eyes and my makeup goes on and looks awful...UGH
Is there anything you can suggest for hydration around the eyes that also might help puffiness? Maybe a gel?
Also, to treat the fine lines, I was going to try ROC Deep Wrinkle Eye Cream...any reviews on this? This or PSF Retinol...
Thanks!! |

Is that the Roc Retinol treatment? If so, it did nothing for the lines under my eyes except make them very shiny.
I don't remember seeing much about PSF's Retinol treatment, but a few of us are raving about Avene's retinoid products lately. Take a look

I like to use chilled chamomile tea bags to depuff my undereye area and they work nicely. For a rich eye cream, I like Christian Dior Capture RX60-80. |

I have gotten great results from Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair. I am using Better Botanicals Apricot Eye Cream right now and it is nice...i'm still on the fence about the results...it is hydrating but not helping the dark circles. |

I would suggest looking into DHC eye products! Right now I use the Eye Bright (a gel) in the morning, and Concentrated Eye Cream at night. The Eye Bright soothes puffiness, helps with darkness, and is lightly moisturizing. Makeup goes fine over it once it has soaked in completely (which takes only a few moments). The Concentrated Eye Cream is very emollient. It really keeps the crepey-ness I get occasionally (especially in the winter) at bay. Both these products are fragrance free and very gentle. Also, very affordable compared to some other high-end eye care products. It always baffles me that the stuff in the smallest tubes costs the most!! |

i'm putting rosehip oil around my eyes and it does keep the skin around my eyes hydrated
bought the dr h revitalizing eye cream and it's not hydrated on its own..now that i put rosehip oil underneath the eye cream, area around my eyes is still nice & moisturized halfway through the day =) |

Laura Mercier recommends mixing a bit of your eye moisturizer in your palm with your concealer to avoid dryness/lines when applying concealer. My favorite eye creams are:
Jurlique Wrinkle Softening Cream
Cellular Skin Rx Firming Peptide Eye cream
Nivea CoQ10 Eye Cream
Clinique All About Eyes
I'd say these are all good. I agree with the rosehip oil recommendation, too. |

the best eye cream i've tried is DermaDoctor's Wrinkle Revenge eye balm ... it's hydrating enough and helps puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. |

Thanks for all the ideas...this will definately help! I really like the idea of mixing the concealer (I use Almay Wake-Up Call) with the moisturizer. That is actually one of the problems I have. When I apply concealer, my eye area is so dry it never goes on right. I just haven't found my HG yet...sigh...and I just can't afford to try the high end products. |

I found the decleor eye products great! I am 35years and my eyes lids had started to droop a bit. I have used Decleor's eye mask (2-3times a week...sometimes sleep overnight after I apply it), vitaroma anti-wrinkle eye and lip cream and now using harmonie eye cream. I have definitely seen a difference in my eyes. |

For undereye concealer I use Revlon Vital Radiance HydraSmooth concealer. I bought it at Wal-Mart for about 15 dollars and it comes in a tube with two compartments on each end each with a twist off brush. One end is a hydrator and the other is a liquid concealer. I like it.
At night I use Camellia oil. |

I use JB okusil and Alphaderma CE, seems to be keeping the wrinkles at bay so far! Just out of interest, has anyone here tried botox for undereye wrinkles?
