Hi ladies! I have to admit that I've just recently started using products on my eyebrows. They've always been really too thick, but I noticed, to my absolute horror, that my left eyebrow has a tiny bald spot and that brow is, altogether, thinner than my right. I bought some herbal brow gel to help with growth and taming and two different shades of pencils to fill them in. But I find I don't know which to put on first. If I put on the gel first, then use the pencil, they get out of place. If I use the pencil first, the gel takes off the pencil.
Help a girl with her brows-- How do you do it?? |

Hi violetanne, I use a pencil and after I apply mascara, swipe the wand on my eyebrows to keep them in place. I wipe the wand before applying to my lashes, so by the time they get to my brows, there's just enough to keep the brows in place without getting everywhere. I have black lashes and eyebrows and use black mascara.
I'm not sure what I would do in your place if you want to continue using both the gel and pencil. I'd suggest applying the pencil and leaving it to dry for a while and then applying the gel. HTH |

I prefer using eyebrow shadow, which looks more natural on my eyebrows, and then I just sweep through ONCE with a clean old mascara wand so no color comes off. If you want to stick to the pencil and gel, try putting the pencil on first and then the gel. But not too much of the gel and don't over-brush. One light stroke should be enough. Hope that helps! |
