When I used Obagi my derm never too me off it, I stayed on it for six months then went on maintenance. I am pretty sure you arent to stop just because you are peeling.

Do you mean you want to have a chemical peel done in addition to Obagi? Obagi has a blue peel that can be done at a doctor/medspa and I think it's done in conjunction with your routine. They might suggest using certain products less often while you heal. |

Absolutly DO NOT do a home TCA peel if you are using Obagi!! If you really want to do the home peel you need to stop using the Obagi (particularly the RetinA) at least 3 days before the peel but in this case I would say a week or more before the peel would be better and afterwards until your skin has healed.
In all honesty I do not think you should even be considering doing a home peel. I really think that Obagi can be very rough on your skin barrier and a peel could be problematic. It is one thing if you have your derm do the peel but don't mess with it yourself.Just my opinion! |
