Call me a sucker for certain infomercials (although I do love my Magic Bullet for Protein Shakes and smoothies - I should post under the diet thread as I'm trying to shed about 10-15 pounds)but I digress....I saw this on an infomercial...it looks just like a bean, it's a contoured exercise device, like the ball but it's supposed to give you better support for your back and be more effective. There's also an option to purchase a device that goes under the beans with resistance bands. I dunno, it looks really intriguing...
I'm also starting Jazzercise. Just found one nearby. I've got to get back to exercising and this sounds fun if I don't keel over in the first ten minutes from being so out of shape.
So, can anyone enable me - or is it just crap?

I have no first hand experience with it but I can tell you what someone, on another board I go to says...
She LOVES it! Has the whole kit-n-kaboodle.. I don't see anything that you can't do on a balance ball {which would be cheaper} except that it doesn't involve any balance on your part, thus not working your core as well as a balance ball... She says the same thing...
She also said there's no DVD instruction for the extra resistance part, it's a wall poster...
You're no sucker...LOL I LOVE infomercials and have more than my share of things from them... ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Since I can't edit...
The one who loves her beans is now saying that if you turn it upside down, you get just as good of a workout for your core as a balance ball... Without falling off, like on the ball..
Hmmm, now I'm thinking this may not be something to laugh at, like I've been doing... If you get it, please let me know what you think of it.. Like I need something else...LOL |

okay. the idea of *not* falling off definitely intrigues me. scratch that -- it's currently a necessity. it actually looks like it would help me do some of the exercises i haven't been able to do one-armed as well. damn! haven't seen it on the french shopping network yet. (i watch mostly to improve my french and amuse myself -- the Magic Bullet is an absolute hoot!)
waiting with bated breath for someone here to be guinea pig (preferably that has used a ball as well).... |
