I'm new so I don't know if haircare is discussed very much here, but I am really curious about Philip Kingsley Elasticizer in particular, and I don't think PK is as readily available here in the U.S. as it is in Europe. It is about $40 for the smallest bottle of the elasticizer and I was hoping to get some feedback before biting the bullet. Thanks! |

Sorry I have never used Philip K's products, but I remember I read an article on him in Vogue in the mid 90's...they raved about him! Check to see if you don't like the product if you can return it. So I can't offer more help! Best wishes! |

I'd be very interested to know if anyone'd tried his Swimcap product and what they thought of it. |

where do you get his products? I've been using Aveda Color Conditioner....it gives my hair such a nice hint of color..a little more than a hint of color. |

I have aveda color condish too....but for me it's not very conditioning, it just adds a bit of color. The PK is a conditioner that is supposed to be amazing in terms of bringing new life to hair. If you google Philip Kingsley you can find a few places to buy in the U.S. There is a European website that has rave reviews and MUA also has great reviews. |

I have the Elasticiser! I havent used it for awhile though so I might pull it out and give it another go. I dont remember being that impressed with it. I didnt like the way you have to apply it, before washing hair-apply to wet hair it says, then shampoo and condition like normal. By the time i was due a hairwash my hair would be a bit oily and it dosent feel very nice putting a conditioning cream in greasy hair |

Hi
I have used the Elasticizer as I use straighteners every day and also colour my hair. After a while of doing this my hair can look a bit frazzled at the ends so I use the Elasticizer which seems to smooth it down again. I only apply it to the ends of my hair, not the scalp.
I've also used the Moisture Balancing shampoo and conditioner. It was nice, I would use it again. |

Thanks for the feedback. What I'm gathering is that it's an ok product but not spectacular. Hhhmmm, not sure it sounds worth $40. Does anyone have a product that has blown them away for fine dry hair? |

Last time my hairstylist introduce the products to me, a shampoo and tonic for balancing, feels ok but nothing fantasic.. well, frankly speaking if you don't have any critial problem about your hair some simple drug store haircare product plus regular treatment can do the job already. |

I tried the small size of the moisturising shampoo and conditioner, and a sample of the elasticizer. They were ok but don't remember being overly impressed by them. I'm not using them now anyway so I guess that says a lot! |
