Sometimes I can get sensative to indoor lighting. My bedside lamp can get really hot and this got me thinking on how many people do wear SPF indoors?

I do wear a SPF product daily. Even if I plan on staying indoors UVA still comes through the windows.

Also if I need to go out for a few minutes I am protected.

It is debated about UV being emitted from computer screens, etc.

I apply SS every morning, just in case I need to step out at some point.

Using the MMU, I've got the sunscreen built in. Otherwise, I'd use a moisturizer with an SPF to protect.

Hey! That is a good idea. If I have a foundation or use maybe ISC powder sunblock when I'm indoors, I'm still protected.

Would you say that it is ok to apply a sublock cream mid-day (on top of your SPF foundation)if you deceided to go out to run errends or to go for a walk? Could it create acne (clog your pores)?

I put SPF 30 sunblock on every morning and usually I am indoors (at the office) until evening.

Is there any more info on this? It's pretty scary to think that if I'm sitting here, browsing EDS, I'm exposing my face to UV rays. However, if you look at the other side of it, people who work on computers all day are usually quite pale (just a generalization. I know that not everyone is pale Wink ).

But to go back on topic, I think using sunscreen is fine even when you plan to stay inside for the day. As someone said, UV rays are transmitted in many ways, including the sun comming through the windows. Better be safe than sorry.

I wear either a moisturizer with SPF or straight sunscreen everyday regardless of the weather outside or if I will be indoors most of the day. No telling what the day will bring with regard to my activities or the weather, so better safe daily than sorry in the long run.

I usually wear a moisturizer with SPF if I am staying at home because you sometimes might have to go out to the balcony to water the plants etc.

I know it is discussed on makeupalley skincare board. Most of those ladies are very serious about sunscreen. I do believe it can come in through windows with no curtains, blinds; how much I am not sure. I have not read anything reliable on the computer screen issue.

Sunscreen is a daily habit with me.

I guess it is safe to say that if you don't have very large windows in your home, you don't have to worry about too much sun exposure.
I normally put on sunblock as part of my daily routine though.
