Hey, i am new to this forum , but i have been suffering from moderate-severe acne for abt 6 years but for the past 2 years its been under control and i only ever break out before my period but its only 2 spots. Anyways i thought i should give some advice on a few of the products i have been using which all helped clear my face and scars up. I have been on diane35 for abt 5 years now, and these pills really do not have any side effects (sometimes slight weight gain and if one smokes an increased risk of thrombosis but not commonly occurring). A year ago i started using dermalogica products and i swear by these products, i have tried everything ranging from expensive names (lancaster, clarins etc to cheaper and nothing seemed to work. these feel so good once applied and leave skin visibly cleaner and smoother. my newest thing has been microdermabrasion, i thought i would give it a go after much research, to clear up those remianing acne scars and red [pigments left. I have had 2 treatments and have seen a difference-glowing clearer less scarry complexion. anyways i think i have written enough for now, any questions on this feel free to ask sinc ei havent read any posts on this topic, ciaociao peeps |

Glad to hear that you've had success with the Diane-35/ethinyl estradiol & cyproterone acetate) - this is an oral contraceptive Pill available everywhere BUT the U.S., for those of you who don't know. In the U.K. and some other countries, it's known as "Dianette".
Microdermabrasion is indeed a great way to stimulate circulation & collagen production. This ought to help fade acne scars.
However, if one is taking ACCUTANE for their acne, DO NOT have microderm done! |
