I have an obsession with hands; I believe they are an indicator of our age. By looking at someone’s hands, I can tell if they work directly with their hands (hairstylist, gardeners, stone or wood setters) or if they push paper (clerical, administrative, office in general) and even if they are in reasonable health! I have spent triple digits on hand/body lotions and never stayed with one product. One particular product was $100.00!!! My husband is a nurse by education (washing hands many times a day) and construction worker (working with wood dries out your skin) and by the end of September each year; his hands are rough with little cuts. Between the two of us, we have tried many products to “soften rough dry skin”. With two years of winter use on legs, arms, butts and feet, we would not be without “Gold Bond Ultimate”. It comes in a pump bottle, 14 oz as well as a small 5.5 oz tube. The pump runs between $9.00-12.00 and the tube $7-9. Occasionally we have found sales $1.00 off. CVS, Wal-mart, Walgreen’s etc carry the product, availability is good most of the time but I have found when sales hit, the shelves are empty. It has a fragrance, not awful (and if you are familiar with my reviews, I dislike fragrance). It is very emollient but not greasy, I can open doors, grab a coffee cup immediately afterwards without issue. This became a staple for us when unexpectedly I was out (one of our sons was using it on a newly etched tattoo and it was 3 days before I made it to the store) my skin was as soft and supple as I wanted and needed it. We keep one next to the kitchen sink and one in our master bedroom. We rate this 5 out of 5. |

Barbara--great review. I also love the Goldbond lotion--it's somehow so moisturizing but light and absorbs really well. I should remember to pick up another bottle soon! |

Good to hear! Thanks for the review...I find neutrogena and eucerin hand cream too greasy. |

Wow, great review. I am also obsessed with hands and on the search for a super hand lotion. (So far the most effective night treatment for hands I have found is Penaten baby cream - it really makes my skin feel healthy and comfortable, but since it's white-keep it for night). This will be my next drugstore purchse - thanks. |

Thanks for the review. I picked some up and it does feel really nice! And just in time for the colder weather. I am sure I will be buying more so I can have some available all over the house. Only other hand cream I have ever liked was Avon's Moisture Therapy. |
