I apologise if this topic has been covered before but, since I found this site, I am amazed at the number of things that simply aren't available in the UK. The BabyQ; Hydraplenish (indeed, any HA with collagen); Alphaderma; PSF.... Yes, they are available to order from abroad, but if I hadn't found this site I wouldn't have known about any of them. Also the Dermawand which I've ordered (from Germany) hoping it will help my two teenage sons with their spots. If I wasn't suffering from terminal inertia I'd set up an import company. |

Australia is much the same. And, generally speaking, if something is available it's usually cheaper to get from overseas even with the postage taken into account.
Three cheers for EDS and online shopping in general! |

I agree with Mabsy. If we didn't have EDS, we will definitely miss out on a lot of wonderful products. |

Can anyone please tell me whether there will be any customs charges or fees if I order from EDS to Australia? And normally how long will this take? |

Another positive outcome since the advent of online shopping is that those companies that hold exclusive distribution rights for particular brands in their country can no longer charge whatever they want, well if they want to stay in business anyway.
I remember way back in the early-mid 90s before online shopping, I had to pay HK750 locally for an MD Formulations product ... which is today priced at around HK250 at EDS! |

It usually takes about a week although Australian customs have been very slow recently. According to the Australian Customs website, you can import up to AU$250 worth of goods without incurring duties. So, make sure your order does not exceed that by much. |

Thanks Mabsy! I'll keep that in mind when I place the next order. |

Hmmm...just been using the only HA capsules at the local health food shop. Anyone know how I can easily get hold of hydraplenish in the UK? i googled, but did not get very far.
Thanks! |
