Hi guys,
I work from 9am till 2pm. I wash my face before I go to work after which I apply makeup.
By the time I come back home my pores are clogged so I wash once again. Then before I go to bed after I shower at night around 11:00pm then I wash my face again.
Is this a little too excessive, what does everyone do? |

It depends, does you face fee dry from all the washing? If it doesn't then I don't really see the harm.
For me even though I'm on the oily side, that would be a bit excessive since often washings/cleansings do leave me a tad dry. |

I don't like wearing makeup once my day is over and if it's still way before bed time then I'll take everything off and then wash again before bed. When I was using products that dried me out (acne) I did have issues with being too dry if I washed too much. Now I'm using DrH CM and DHCC and they don't dry me out at all. I don't see a problem as long as it doesn't irritate your skin. |

I only wash my face 2x a day. I've found washing more than that cause more breakouts let alone dehydrated skin. |

Yes I get that, I want to wash my face twice to.
But I don't want my makeup to be left on all day. I have noticed that my face dries up when ever I wash my face. |

If you face dries up maybe you can choose a more moisturizing cleanser? I know what you mean, as soon as I get home I need to wash my face and get any makeup off when I can. There have been days I do wash my face 3 times because of this. |

When I exercise (which is 4-5 times a week) I also have to wash my face 3 times a day. I was also worried about over washing, but it doesn't seem to have caused any problems. |
