for rosacea???
I looked this up on the IS clincal website, and it recommends active serum and proheal for people with rosacea.
The proheal has retinol in it, and the active has all kinds of stuff usually not recommended for rosaceans.
I would LOVE to be able to use a product like this(my wallet wouldn't, but that's not the point )
Are there any rosaceans or super sensitive types who use one or both of these? I am especially interested in using the active, hydrocool, super combo that so many of you seem to have such great luck with.
Thanks! |

Full-fledged rosacean and I use both and LOVE them!!!! The retinol in Proheal is VERY mild. |

Hi AnnieR
Can I ask your routine?
Any irrition with these products? Do you use hydracool too? Do you use the proheal instead of the super serum?
Are you using any perscriptions for your rosacea?(sorry if that's nosy - you don't have to answer...)
Our skintypes sound similar - combo, rosacea, some mild breakouts, so I am very curious about this
Thanks! |

I mix a little proheal and super serum some days or one or the other. I don't really notice much difference. I start in the am with obagi gentle wash, follow by proheal or super and then hydra cool. At night I use my Clarisonic w/ the gentle wash, then active serum followed by hydracool. If I need extra moisture I use JB night cream, Decleor Iris balm or Dr H rejuv mask. I like a very simple routine, but I have pretty good skin overall. I also use my Baby Q every few days.
I don't use any RX's for rosacea. The baby Q and my IPL's I've had do a good job with that.
Although I have very sensitive skin, these products haven't been a problem. If my skin does flare up, I use Obagi Active for a few days and it calms down. |
