with: Glycolic Acid, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Amino Acid Peptides, Vitamins A & E. (Plus alot of other ingredients that would damage spell check - the ones that I have listed are on the front label, under the product name.)
Anyway......I'm entering my second week of use and this is on my list of WOW's. I can't wait to use it at night because my skin is so smooth & soft in the morning. I have used similar type products but I can't compare their ingredients to ingredients in these pads. Dr Denese Firming Facial Pads come in jars of 60 or 100 (less I think with some trial kits) & are to be used once a day, at night. You swipe the pad - no rubbing or scrubbing - I actually read the instructions - on your face, let it soak in & then move on to your regular regime. I have heard that you can extend the life of the pads by cutting them in half & only using one half per night. I'm using the whole pad, enjoying the proccess & may decide some time to cut back but I don't think so. They are loaded with "juice" so application doesn't drag on your skin to rough it up.
Awesome. The other similar types that I have used eventually got tossed because they dried out & I was unimpressed by the results. The Dr Denese are a definite repurchase.
QVC has the best selection. The Shopping Channel has about 10 items, including this one. |

Hi, I'm interested in this. Can any ol' glycolic acid do or are these pads any special? What are the opinions? |

I've heard about this product but I don't know much about it. All comments I've heard have been positive. |

I'm still using them & loving them. I have the separate ones for face, for neck & for body but now that I see that they are all quite the same I may just use the face ones for my face, neck & decollete. I think that they're maybe a bit stronger and my neck & chest are used to their respective pads & the move up next time would be okay. It's been two months & I just put in my re-order. On the delphi & QVC forums there seems to be a "buzz" about new products of hers coming out...may be interesting. |

Hi RuthMarion,
Hope the wedding count-down is going well. I got the pads and tried them twice in one week. The problem is that they make my eyes all watery. It feels as though they are burning and there's also like a camphor smell that I find quite potent. Did you notice t? Does it get better with time? TIA.

Do the pads just have a hydrolic acid? What ingredients are in the pads? |

I have also used Dr. Denese products. I have been on her regimen for approx 2 years.
Let me start off by saying, 2 years ago, my face was an oil slick, my pores were huge, my skin color was uneven, my rosacia was bad and I had to use Metrogel to calm it. (if it did).
So 2 years later.
I get many compliments.
My face is no longer oily, my rosacia is lighter, my skin is more even and best of all, my pores are hardly noticible.
My face looked good, that my husband started using it, my sister-n-law started using it too.
NIGHT ROUTINE
1. Facial Firming Pads.(every other day opposite of Cellular firming Serum.
2. Cellular Firming Serum (every other day)
3. Restore eyes above eyes.
4. Her new one, for under the eyes. Wrinkle serum.
5. And I also use every 3rd day, Growth Factor Serums 1 & 2.
AM ROUTINE
All I do in the AM is wash face in shower.
Microdermabasion cream while in shower.
Wash again, (because I don't like the oiliness the microdermabrasion cream leaves)
Then, Before my makeup, I put a very small dot of the Wrinkless Moisterizer and spread over my face.
Just these steps has made a big difference in my skin.
WOW. |

I read Dr. Denese's book "Secrets for Ageless Skin." I have to admit it is a pretty good book and covers a lot of the antiaging products we are using at this forum. So I guess we are all on track. She states that using a "glycolic pad" of at least 10% daily is a must. She also mentions that skincare regimen should include an Antioxidant (Vit. C) and also she talks about Hyaluronic Acid, Sun Protection, peptides. She recommends different brand name products (other than her own) in her book including Cellex-C and SkinCeuticals and others.
After reading her book, I started using DDF 10% Glycolic Pads, but they are now discontinued. So, now I am using PeterThomasRoth Max Complexion Correction Pads with 10% Glycolic and 2% Salicylic acid. It also contains 46% alcohol which I am not sure is all that good for the skin, but I haven't had a problem with it. |

I gave my book to my sister-n-law that really enjoyed it (She is far away from me). But I missed my book, because I liked to re-read certain subjects. So I bought another book.
I started reading it again, and it has renewed my interest in my face care alot. I've always used her products for 2 years, but I know there are some things that I need to do more of.But, overall. I feel confident in her products. |
