So, I'm 27 years old, with combo skin - some hormonal breakouts, clogged pores/blackheads to the sides of my nose, but then some bad dry/flaky patches as well (especially when I overzealously treat a breakout!). I'm thinking of trying out the whole JB line since everyone seems to love it, and just wanted some advice choosing products. Which is better for my type of skin, the regular Cleansing Gel or the Green Apple Cleansing Gel? I figured I'd then use the Blemish Clearing Serum, the Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer (in the a.m.), Lip Plumper, Green Apple Sensitive Peel, and Green Apple Eye Treatment (in the p.m.). I'm also debating which moisturizer to use at night - Nutrient, Green Apple Antioxidant, or Oil-Free? Any advice would be great Thanks! |

I've used the Cleansing Gel, Blemish Serum, Sheer Moisturizer SPF30 and the Green Apple Peel (Regular Strength). My favourite product would have to be the Green Apple Peel. It's the only Juice Beauty product that I'm still using.
I didn't like the texture of the Sheer Moisturizer. It left a whitish film on my face. I find that the Cleansing Gel and the Blemish Serum loses their efficacy with time.
I highly recommend the Earth to Body acne products. www.earthtobody.ca |

With your skin breakdown, I'd say avoid using a night moisturizer for a few weeks and just use the serum all over your face until your acne calms down. Then once it's chilled out, use the green apple moisturizer mixed with a bit of the blemish serum at night. That way it's not too greasy and still works to unclog your pores. Good luck! |

I've actually decided in retrospect that my skin is perhaps more dry, with local areas of clogged pores, and just occasional hormonal breakouts. I've actually been trying out the Nutrient moisturizer at night (with a sample from Sephora) that's been really good so far at clearing up my dry flaky areas - how does the Green Apple moisturizer compare/what are the big differences, especially for maintenance purposes? |

just one thought that Blemish Clearing Serum did not work for me quite well, not that it has any negative effect, it is just not working. |

It's good that you can use the Nutrient Moisturizer. I have combo skin and this totally broke me out. |

I'm interested in Juice beauty products too at the moment. And I've got combo skin.
I'd love to try green apple peel. But how exactly is it "good"? effective? gentle? or whatelse? Would like to hear more details.
Thanks!! |

The Apple Cleanser is seriously a wonderful product. I highly recommend it. I also like the Apple Peel and the tinted sunscreen. Have also tried the toner, which I thought was ok. I tried the cream exfoliating cleanser... Was not too impressed. But I think it would be nice for some people. The lip balm's are quite nice as well, and they have SPF15. |
