I used this before going to my MD AHA/BHA peel, my beautician said it will allow me to get used to the acid used in the peel and avoid irritation.
Been using it for a month.
Consistency: creamy light yellow, doesn't smell very nice (a bit chemical scent) but nothing unbearable.
I apply this after washing my face thoroughly, it tingles a bit if you put it near the mouth, so it's best to becareful with that area :P
I found that my skin was really really really smooth after using this, really improved the exterior texture of the skin, although it made me a bit blotchy the next day and brought out some zits, I still quite liked it just for the sheer smoothness of the skin.
The beautician said i should be using the MD clearing complex rather than night recovery, since night recovery complex is for those with more oily and acne-prone skin, and clearing complex is better for those with occassional zits and combo skin like me.
Overall, a fairly good product. |
