Hi. I'm just posting this topic out of interest. Just wondering what products other members use and how they look after their skin. Here's my current regimen though it changes as I change products.
Morning: I wash with Kiehl's Foaming Non-Detergent Washable Cleanser and follow with Kiehl's Rosewater Facial Freshener-Toner. I then apply Yon-Ka Pamplemousse on my face, La Prairie Age Management Eye Repair around my eyes and Anessa Waterproof Sunscreen SPF 50. I sometimes use Origins No Puffery Eye Mask on those mornings I wake up with puffy eyes.
Evening: I first clean my face using Shu Uemura Balancing Cleansing Oil and followed by Kiehl's Cleanser and Toner. Then I use Yon-Ka Phyto 58 mixed with Yon-Ka Serum and use La Prairie Lipo Sculpting Gel around my eyes. |

AM:
Haba Powder Wash
Haba VC Toner
Decleor YY oil
**I'm on an experiment: I'm NOT using my Decleor Mattifying Fluid here
Jurlique Calendula cream
Sofina Nuance Up Sunscreen
PM:
Take off eye makeup with L'Occitane Cleansing milk (only because I'm trying to use it up)
Haba Powder Wash
Candessence VC Serum
Haba VC Toner
Decleor YY balm (21 days) OR Decleor Essential Balm (7 days)
Juice Beauty Cleansing serum (awaiting a sample of Best Bath Store Acne serum)
I'm also waiting on Ice Elements 2 Minute Miracle exfoliating gel, as I'm trying to find a new exfoliator to use twice a week. |

last post before I go to bed
A.M
Avene gengtle gel cleanser
Rosewater toner
Mukti regenerating eye balm
Olay's total effects
Olay's white radiance spf 15
Galenic Anti-aging SPF 50
P.M (my fav time of the day)
Kose's foaming cleansing oil
Pure 100% pomergranate soap free cleanser
Rose water toner/Kose's Sekkisei lotion
Remergent DNA
Avene's Ystheal gel
Remergent's Micro circulation
Daily masks :
Various sheet-type that I pick up from a local beauty store. Current alternating between a collagen one that I love from Kanebo and a Lingzhi/bird's nest one from Revier. Also trying out an amazing crystal gel mask that leaves skin poreless and line-less after removal. It's pricey so will use this only for emergency or big night out.
Scrubs :
Simplicite Exfolating Cleanser
pure 100% blackberry/honey scrub
Olay's regenerist microderm kit
Every now and then my routine will change and on the days when I'm not using the above creams or serums, I'll try to slot in Babor's sea creation concentrate (too soon to tell if I like it and not sure what it's supposed to be fore either) and also trying desperately to finish up Caudalie's vinoperfect which I bought on impulse! Once I'm done with all these (sometimes it feels like I'm never reaching there) I'll start the DIY thing again which I abandoned after caving in to all the raves here.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention, I put aside 1 hour twice a week for the baby quasar too. This is all very time consuming and friends wonder how come I'm home all the time after work instead of going out. THIS is why but dare I tell them? :P Best not to open up a can of worms methinks. |

Fenn,
I'm curious, who makes the crystal gel mask you're trying out? It sounds interesting.

Hi kimberly,
I got it from a local beauty chain store called sasa but I believe you can get it from sasa.com as well. It's made in HK. It's not cheap so I try to limit my usage of it to 2x a week. I truly love it alot coz of how poreless it makes my skin after I leave it on for an hour. Very hydrating too without being sticky.
Hth!
Gotta Zzzz now. Catch ya later! |

The Rosewater works ok. I don't see any noticable improvement, but I think that's the case with other toners I've used as well. I prefer their Calendula one and haven't tried the Cucumber Toner. |

Great idea! Where do you get your roller bottles? I would like a good quality one... I have one with a plastic ball but it doesn't work very well... |

I got mine at a local health food store, but I plan on getting a couple more from here: http://www.candleandsoapstuff.com/roller.html
If anyone's ordered from here, I'd love to know how speedy they are. They seem to have a ton of oils and such as well. |

Hm, someone else brought this up in another thread. I have no idea about metals in aloe vera. I use Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gelly, which is organic and 99% pure aloe vera. The other ingredients are carbomer 940 (a gelling agent) and Vitamins A, C and E. I *would* use pure aloe vera juice if I could get my hands on it, though. But this stuff is pretty inexpensive and I don't have to refrigerate it.
It works really well at dissolving the Vitamin C crystals--much better than the Zia serum I'd been using before (just because I wanted to use it up). The resulting mixture is more liquid than gel and absorbs completely after a few seconds of rubbing it into my skin. No stickiness or residue at all. |
