Hi guys!
I was wondering if the Bare escentuals brushes were necessary to buy or specifically designed to apply their make-up, im from Australia and have just purchased my first foundation and blush/eye shadow kit, i didnt buy any brushes in the hope that the face brushes i already use would work okay, does anybody know, if they are special i will buy but otherwise i could spend that money on moremake-up!
Help!

Hi, Jade:
I am using the BE eye shadows too, personally, I think, at least for the mineral eye makeup, the brushes are a must for the application, unlike the other pressed powder form of e/s, you can use fingers, I dont even think it's a good idea to use the regular sponge applicator, coz the mineral e/s would just clog up into the sponge and it takes up too much of it that it would be a mess when applying that over to the eyelid!
The face brushes sound too big for precise e/s application, but I am not sure about the size of your brushes, you may be able to manipulate it well .. for the blush, I dont see any problems using the face brushes you already have it's all about proper application techniques!
I am not sure if I have answered your questions, hope it helps! |

Oh, one more thing, I dont have the BE brushes except those came along with the foundation kit, for the eye shadows, I only use the old brushes I already have, my point is, you may not need to have the BE brushes, it's OK to have other brands! But I cannot comment on the quality of BE brushes.. the daily face brushes that came with the kit doesnt impress me at all .. |

Thanks alot for that!!!!
Im not a fan of sponges either, it wastes to much product, i used another general brand brush when i got my make-up this morning and it seems to have worked just fine :0)
Youve been a great help, thanks again |
