Hello,
Where can one buy retin a in Paris? I'm assuming that the lack of fda regulations over here will allow me to try several different things not available in the US. If anyone knows any good products in particular, please let me know. And, does one go to a pharmacie for this and tell them you want something to prevent wrinkles? Any info appreciated, thanks!

Avalange,
Over the counter you should be able to get RoC. It is not hardcore retinol but good for the price. I have been using Retinox mutlicorrection eye cream for about 8 years (in its various guises) and I think it has something to do with the very few lines I have around my eyes now. It was the only thing I applied religiously as skincare. Now I am trying all kinds of voodoo but look for RoC. Its good. |

i use Diacneal from Avene. it's their strongest strength available, combined with a glycolic. this product seems to divide people -- they either love it or they hate it. available everywhere. |

I found Roc did nothing for me. I love the Avene range of retinaldehyde products - was using Ystheal and now moved up to Diacneal. They're cheap but effective. |

I found the ROC to be an awful product - my eyes crinkled really badly after just a few uses. |

thanks, everyone.
does anyone know if actual retin a is available over here? or pure retinol? most of the lines in paris are formulated with a lot of other chemicals, and i want something more pure. I'm currently using psf retinol night cream, for example. i know it sounds funny, not wanting to put MORE chemicals on my face when I want to use a chemical agent on my face. But in fact, every time I've tried a more commercial product after having used Osea for so many years, my skin freaks out. I need something really, really simple. I've seen RoC and they seem to have really complex and chemical-laden ingredient lists, isn't that true? Perhaps I am wrong. I'll go look at Avene today.

Hello,
Decleor has a couple of very good eye products.
Decleor Serum Hydrotenseur - Eye Contour Firming Serum - which should last you a year if you use it the way they have described it (use for 21days every 3rd month).
New Decleor Vitaroma Lift Total Wrinkle Action and Firmness Eye & Lip Cream - I have used this temporarily - found it very effective
Decleor Hydra Floral "Flower Petals" Eye and Lip Moisutrising Mask - to be used not more than 3 times a week and you can leave it on overnight.
Upon using the 2nd and 3rd product (the old version), I have found my eyes have opened up a bit.
I had a couple of samples of the Decleor Vitaroma Lift Total Wrinkle Action and Firmness Eye & Lip Cream.I have been told by their beauty therapist that i don't need to use it regularly. So, I use the one for normal skin now. |
