My skin is really oily with breakouts and acnes which leave scars and spots ALL THT TIME. I've tried 1000 kinds of products trying to get rid of the scars, including DiorSnow, Chanel, SKII, Kose White-Science -- nothing really worked. Last month I went to The Bay and was given a sample of Decleor Whitening Arromessence, so I started to try it.
The sale at the counter told me to massage the oil onto my face after applying toner every night, before going to sleep. Just as the way I use Clarins Lotus Oil, I warm up two drops of the Whitening Arromessence with my hands first and then pat them onto my skin lightly, followed by massaging for 5 mintues or so, letting the oil to get fully absorbed. After these I apply my night treatment and go to sleep.
Honestly I did not expect any results -- essential oil to cure pigmented skin was something I never heard of at that point.
After approx. 2 weeks of using Decleor Whitening Arromessence, I went to a party and met friends. They were amazed by how much better my skin tone was. I used to have big areas of redness on my right cheek due to nonstoping acnes but on that night, everybody thought I had makeup on while I really didnt at all. (I do not wear makeup if skin breaks out too bad). After that night, I paid more attention to my acne scars and started to apply Decleor Whitening Arromessence at morning as well. Later I've noticed significant improvement after another 2 weeks. I don't even need concealer now -- a sheer layer of CD liqued fundation gives me enough coverage. I could hardly stay calm at this wonder --- now it's been 3 months, I have to say it's simply amazing...I'm going to buy the whole Decelor whitening line here as soon as I'm done with current skincare stuff. I wish I had known this place earlier --- so much cheaper than the counter !
Oh..and the oil does NOT make my skin breakout at all, it's absorbed quite fast if you use it properly, i.e. warming it up and massaging it onto your face.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I'm really glad that the whitening oil helped you. I have acne scars too and it's horrible when you have nasty scars that take forever to heal.
I haven't tried Decleor's whitening oil, but I have tried their whitening complex ('10 day cure' stuff). Unfortunately, I didn't really notice any difference in my complexion after using this. Let me know if you try the whitening complex stuff and if so, if it helps with clearing scars or uneven skin tone.

hey Yazzy: Just wondering how long you have waited to see the effect...normally after started using one whitening product, it takes at least one month to show its result due to biological reasons. And honestly I don't like chemical whitening stuff because I dont think they last very long. This essential oil is like completely natural
Hi sparkle: on the official website it says the product is of 100% natural aromatic essences...but it does not have detailed description. I believe it's true because if not, my picky skin will have a say on it |

Hi, thanks for the info. I tried the the complex as a one-month cure, but I'm pretty tempted to purchase the whitening arromessence after reading your review |
