Does anyone know of a good all natural shampoo, and where I can get it?

Hi Marilyn,
I agree that Desert Essence Organics Red Grape shampoo is wonderful! I also love Alba Hawaiian's Honeydew Hairwash--- you can get it at Whole Foods or at drugstore.com. HTH! |

I use John Masters Evening Primrose and it's nice, I'm going to try the Alba next. You can get JM at SaffronRouge.com |

I like surfing websites about organic news. I saw some people saying that Heritage Shampoo is the most natural hair products and it only contains very few ingredients, mainly olive oil and coconut oil soap. It does have different fragrance such as almond or lavander for you to choose. The price is around 4 - 6 bucks. Another good product I heard people saying about is John Master but the price is pretty high. |

As an eczema sufferer, I can absolutely recommend Garnier Nutralia Shampoo, Conditioner, and Shower Cream. Hang on a minute, though - it's been discontinued. Why do these companies continue to do this to us? What's worse is that the containers still have a "NEW" flash on them, but you can't get it any more. Sorry I can't help more, but I'm just so ticked off. |

The past months I've been trialling a number of "natural" shampoos/cons on my unbelievably hideous hair, including so far -
Burts Bees Grapefruit & Sugar Beet
John Masters Honey & Hibiscus
An emu oil shampoo/con (name?)
Renew Rosehip
I've still got these unused in the cupboard patiently waiting their turn -
BB Raspberry & Brazil Nut
Alchemy
Jason
Natural Instinct
Etc, etc.....
So far I'm tending towards Renew Rosehip, although I need to give it a bit longer, only used 5 or 6 times (I've used up whole bottles of the first three) |

I don't use shampoo -- I conditioner-only wash. But I suggest checking out a local health food store's supply, along with their return policy. Whole Foods, etc. have a large selection. |

I'm a big fan of Jason's Natural Jojoba Shampoo and any of the Nature's Gate formulas (I have very long, straight, unprocessed hair with oily roots, btw) |

I use an oraganic shampoo called Aloe-80. The first ingredient is aloe vera, and it has rosemary and lemon essentials oils (good for scalp and hair) as well as vitamins. My hair is naturally dry , so I added a few drops of olive oil and sweet almond oil to it. For some reason, my hair really loves rosemary, so I really love this shampoo. It has an invigorating scent that wakes you up in th emorning, too. Youshould be able to find it at any natural food store, etc. |

Hi I was just about to order the JM Honey & HIb. shampoo. How do you like it? I was worried about it being too heavy so I was wondering if I should order the Evening prirose instead. |

Leonor Greyl shampoos are expensive but AWESOME. They don't really foam up and take some getting used to, but her Banane Shampoo is out of this world. At first, I felt like I was massaging overripe bananas into my hair, but I have to say, my hair has never been so soft and manageable!
Her Honey and Rose Shampoo and her Bamboo Shampoo is also lovely.
The line is too expensive to use every day, but I usually pick it up for a major discount on eBay... |

Where did you hear about this brand? I've never heard of it myself... |
