I am 53 and have somewhat sensitive skin and have been told I have rosacea so I think if I do it is mild. Here are some that I have used that don't bother me and work for my slightly dry skin:
Skin Medica Dermal Repair
Remergent Barrier Repair (use with DNA Repair)
Kinerase Cream
LaRoche-Posay Biomedic Hydro-active Emulsion
PCA 11+ (I also want to try PCA 20 Silk Balm)
LRP and PCA are not very expensive if that is a factor.
There are also lines specifically for rosacea but the only product I have tried is the the LaRoche-Posay Rosaliac. But I haven't used it regularly and rosacea isn't a big problem so can't speak to its effectiveness. It didn't irritate my skin though. |

Seabuckthorn Seed Oil is supposed to be excellent for rosacea. It is also packed with great nutrients for the skin. I believe she will only need like 2 drops/application so a little should go a long way. HTH! |

Hi...I'm 47 and have rosacea, sensitive skin.
I recommend these products:
Creme de L'Extreme barrier repair formula by Osmotics.
Creme de la Copper by Neova.
The first one is somewhat more moisturizing.
For the record, I have tried the DNA Repair Serum, Microcirculation cream, and Barrier Repair cream (all by Remergent),and they do not work for my sensitive skin. I get red itchy blotches from these products. |

Ooooo thanks for that warning on the Remergent stuff. I have been considering the DNA serum but wasn't sure. |

Each person with Rosacea is different so I can only comment on the stuff that I can use.
Decleor creams especially the Harmonie line and Rose d'Orient oil and balm.
Kinerase (I think the price is too high)
PSF HA serum
Bioelements has a great line of cleansers and moisturizers. Now people do complain about some of the additives but I've reacted to lines that were 'natural'.
I love Dr Hauschka's cleansing cream but some people with Rosacea may react to it. I'm thinking the Rejuvinating mask would be something to try.
Skinceuticals Emollience cream is a nice overall moisturizer.
Juice Beauty has a Redness reducing serum that is not too greasy for those who are oily. |

I thought I was the only one that ever had a reaction to the Remergent Products! Poco Loco do you have any thought on what ingredient(s) might be causing the problem for you? I have thought about this myself and after scrutinizing the ingredeint lists have not been able to come up with a culprit. |

Well I think the first ingredient on the ingredient list for DNA Repair Serum is Sandalwood extract (that's what I remember reading). So since I react to many essential oil type things, I think this is the culprit. |

I would recommend the Cellular Skin Rx Calming Biolipid Repair Creme. It is supposed to calm skin, reduce redness, help rosaceans (it has beta glucans, rosemary and sea whip in it) while providing moisture without parabens, etc that can irritate sensitive skin. It is fairly rich but not greasy. I can't use during hot summer months but love it during the winter. |

If you suffer acne, from the ingredient listing from CSRx Biolipid repair creme, I think it has pore clogging ingredients...I think it was shea butter listed. |

I'm early 40's with sensitive skin. I am going to try the new-ish Zia line (Brilliant? Brilliance?) that is targeted for mature skin. |

DIY girl or anyone, I can't remember if seabuckthorn oil can be used straight on the face or does it have to be diluted in a carrier oil and if so, how much? Thanks. |

It should be diluted. I think I used 20% in my mixture but that's not a hard and fast rule. |

I am using Decleor Harmonie Gentle Soothing Cream and Rose Oil in the morning and SC Retinol in the evening. The Decleor Harmonie line helps to reduce redness and calm skin resulting from the use of retinoid. It is quite rich but not greasy. I highly recommend you give it a try. |
