I was wondering what everyone's favourite heat protectant is for your hair.
My hair is fine and I don't like it feeling weighed down.
Any suggestions very welcome.

Wish I could help... The stuff I was using before worked well enough when I just blow drying, but now that I've been using my Chi hair straightener (which gets REALLY hot) it seems to be drying out a bit... I'll be watching this thread for replies too!
Hopefully someone will have a good suggestion... |

I just started using a spray by Ojon. It's called "Revitalizing Mist". It is very good!
I haven't tried that many hair products, compared to some people... So I am not an expert here... But this company is very very good. |

I am a HUGE fan of Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream. To quote:
" Infuses hair with lasting shine, protects from heat styling, safeguards from the sun, fights frizz, and leaves your locks looking sleek and polished. "
I put some in while my hair is still damp and blow it dry, then use a little bit more to smooth the ends when dry. My hair looks AWESOME whenever I use it. |

I myself am trying to look for one too, but it seems that these heat protectant sprays/creams have all these silicones in them that aren't water soluable. |

Does a clarifying shampoo not get out the residues of these products??...
Are there any alternatives? |

The thing is I don't shampoo my hair anymore. All I use is conditioner to wash and then to condition. I do the baking soda and acv rinse to get rid of the buildup so I try to stay away from cones that aren't water soluable so I can avoid using shampoo even the non sulfate ones if I can.
Not sure if there are alternatives out there..hoping there is though. |
