Hi all,
I have been constantly searching for a better all natural lipstick, I have tried a lot, they are either too drying, too thick, don't stay long, too waxy, or the color selection sucks.
I found it at Whole Foods today, it's called Primitive Lip Color, only comes with 7 or 8 colors and they are all wearable and beautiful. Texture is perfect, not too creamy, sticky, or waxy, the color is sheer yet provides enough color, very light in texture but very moisturizing. The color stays surprising well too considering the dye is all natural too and it has natural sunscreen in it.
It costs $15.99. It can be used on cheeks too as blush (touch up maybe). I looked at the ingredients, nothing special, somehow the formula works like a charm. I got the color Tahiti, just like a beautified version of my own lip color.

I've looked at that brand but I don't want to use anything with carmine in it. Still searching for a natural lipstick that I like! |

Carmine is only present in a few shades, as documented on their website. Hope your shade is free of it

Lipstick shades that contain carmine are Martinique, Sahara, Tahiti, Corsica, Mali. Those that do not contain carmine are Morocco, Belize, and Taj Mahal. Lipstick shades with no titanium dioxide are Morocco, and Taj Mahal.

Sadly the shades that I like are the ones that have the carmine. It really depresses me because I've managed to replace all of my cosmetics with natural ones except my lipstick! Still using Loreal. UGH! |
