My previous favorite mascaras have been Lancome Hypnose and Dior DiorShow, but I just used Tarte Lights, Camara, Lashes mascara and my lashes are full, long and look almost fake! No clumping and it dried quickly. Who could ask for more?
I admit I was lured by the cute purple faux croc container and the name itself. It only comes in one color, Rich Black but that's ok with me since black is normally what I use. I have naturally curly lashes so I don't know how effective it is at holding a self-induced curl.
If you love the look of dramatic, outrageous lashes give this one a try. I bought it for $18 usd at Sephora.

Thank you for this review! You use the same mascaras as me. (have you tried L'Oreal Voluminous?) Now, I will try this, although I've never heard of it! Thank you. |

I remember using L'Oreal Voluminous years ago but when I started wearing contact lens it seemed to irritate them for some reason. |

i love diorshow and vowed never to stray but this sounds AMAZING from yr review. Am very tempted to give it a go. Tarte stuff is mega expensive in Australia though. Where can I get it online that ships internationally?? |

Does Tarte irritate contact lens wearers? I hear it has fibres but I am soooooooo tempted to try! |

I've been using this recently, and I haven't noticed any irritation. (I'm a contact lense wearer.) Actually, I like this stuff so much that I think I'm going to have to re-purchase it when I use it up. Granted, it doesn't provide anywhere NEAR the volume that diorshow does, so don't buy it for that. Instead, I think it's real merit lies in its definition. It defines my lashes SO flawlessly, I don't even need to come them afterwards, I can just apply this stuff and go. Very glossy black color too. |

love this mascara! I'd love to try it with the Tarte Peep Show Smokey Eye Palette in Amber! Hope it would bring out the green in my eyes!:P |

seriously, better than diorshow? *gasp* I like dior show because I can achieve practically drag-queen style lashes -- can tarte go there? |

Not in my opinion, unfortunately. For me, Tarte is great for a natural look, but when I want to go drag queen I reach for diorshow. |
