I have this hydrating mask sample from Claudalie for dry skin. It's really thick feeling and after 15 min as instructed, I washed my face with regular warm water. It's not that hot, but I felt my whole face was burning reddish. It was so hot that I quickly applied with my toner and moisturizer. it doesn't give me any skin break out sign, but it's really make my face reddish like burnt completely after washed. Kinda disappointed with it. |

fishzebbgy I had a sample of this and also had a bad reaction. While my face didn't turn red I did experience a burning sensation and my skin was irritated for several days after using this. I was hoping that some of the Caudalie would be appropriate for my very sensitive skin but the mask definetly didn't work for me. Have you tried any of the other Caudalie products? |

TheresaL , sorry to hear that you got reaction. I don't like the mask texture at all. it's too thick thus it's hard to wash it out.
I do have several samples of dry skin line like anti-wrinkle moisturizer and serum. They all works fine on my skin, no reaction. Didn't see much improvement because I just have 2 small sample bottles.
I did try the grape water as toner. It is quite hydrating since I felt my face is more oilier, compared to clarins toner.
That's all I can tell for now. I am eager to try the Claudalie cleanser, but now, I am changing my mind, maybe I should try dermalogica cleanser instead. |
