Can anyone please tell me what kind of plugs are used in Australia (and Hong Kong and South Africa)! I have two adaptors (I'm travelling from the UK) and one has two round pins, and the other has two straight pins, at a slight angle. Thanks! |

You can use two types of plugs in Australia, either two pin or three pin. The top two pins are straight and angled in toward each other at the top. The third pin is also straight and is under the top two in the shape of a triangle. The third pin is not necessary.

and dont forget... Australia is 240V!! And Bushy is right, 3rd plug is not needed - that is the earth prong. |
