Hmmm, I did a search on the FDA site and there is no mention ... nothing in press or warning letters.
although I did find a warning letter of false or misleading claims from FDA for Strivectin!
I think it may be a misreading for a warning letter for Hydroderm's Anti-Aging Eye Complex. |

"Just got word from my Esthetician yesterday that JM had the age intervention lash pulled from the FDA. (There was rumor that would happen a few weeks back from somone on this board...) She got a letter from JM Co and said it could take a YEAR to be able to get it again from them! Bummer!! Guess I will be sticking with my castor oil and Ardell!! It IS working for me, though." |

I just spoke with a vendor of this product, and they said the issue was with labeling, and once she corrects what their issue is then they can start selling it again. So she felt it wasn't testing, but labeling. Hope that helps. And just a note, I am clueless if its testing or labeling, but that was the info given. |

Very upsetting - just a wonderful product hope they can get it cleared up asap |

If there's actually a problem, hopefully it's only a labeling problem that won't take very long to clear up. It's a very effective product and I'm about to run out of it. Bummers. |

I just ordered some from EDS, which says it's back ordered 2-4 weeks, however, my order status says it's been "packed" as of today.
Since EDS is Canadian, perhaps they can only ship it to Canadians since the FDA doesn't apply to our products?...although, Canada is usually more cautious about ingredients. m, I hope I get my JM!!! |

There are people on eBay selling JM for well over $200 - some yahoo has it up for $295! They should all be given a purple nurple!
Why are people still able to get their hands on this stuff to sell it on eBay? I'm sure the super sleuths on this board would've located every remaining tube out there - why is there more to be had, but only on eBay? Makes me seriously wonder if that stuff is even real, or if its new and unused, or if people are even selling full tubes of the stuff. I bet some of this stuff has been used, probably down to almost empty!
Wow, I'm such a skeptic! |

these are probably just extra tubes they had before the supply dried up and they are just taking advantage of the short supply and making a little extra dough. I bought a couple tubes online for 220 each I hope they last a year till Jan Marini is able to supply again.,by then I will have my new lashes and hopefully will be able to maintain...its still cheaper than getting extensions-they look fake,I always hated fake lashes. |

It's probably a combination of both on ebay, sad to say..And if it is a fake, who's to prove otherwise? Unless you suspected it was fake and had the money to see a chemist. What we all need is Carrie's Lush Lash which is supposed to be for sale at Christmastime or shortly after. Our eyelash survival just may lie with Carekate! |

It's really not as scarce as everyone thinks.
Two weeks ago I emailed about 5 spas in the U.K. - everyone had stock.
I just bought a tube yesterday (at regular price).
I would hope it's not fake because this aesthetician works for a Womens' Health Care practice - adjoined to a major hospital.
I thought about buying the stock I found at two places and selling on Ebay - but the effort just wasn't worth it for me. |

I purchased a tube on ebay a couple of weeks ago for $240 I'm afraid to say. I had such amazing results with the tube I purchased at a reputable salon earlier this year. So far, I'm not quite sure I'm seeing the same results. There seem to be a few little sprouts, but doesn't seem to be as lush as the first time around. It may be that my expectations are higher than the first time though.
Anyone know where/how to purchase from salons in UK or Canada? |

Hi TeeV - EDS carries Jan Marini's line but the miracle lash stuff is on backorder.. Maybe you can put yourself on a waiting list or something - I'm not sure..you could probably give them a call and check..
