I started to use CP serum from Skinbiology about one and half month ago. But after a month use, I noticed some small wrinkles come out at the outer corner of my right eye. At that time I was not sure it was because of aging or CP. I think if it was because of CP and I didn't continue to use it, maybe my skin can't rebuild itself and the wrinkles will stay there forever. So I decided to continue to use it. Now I notice some wrinkles come out at the outer corner of my left eye and the skin of my face also looks sagging. I am still not sure whether it is because of CP serum, but I have this doubt more and more.
What can I do if the uglies is actually from CP serum? I start to use retinol from Avene and wonder whether I should start to use DMAE also to firm my skin. Should I continue CP serum? I am afraid if not continue CP, my skin will stop rebuilding, and then the wrinkles and sagging skin can't be changed. Can you please give me some suggestion what to do? I am crying now. |

Don't cry Liangzhiz. I think it will go away. I only met one person here who suffered from the uglies and they got rid of it by using stronger exfoliation so stimulating more collagen production. It was one of the skincare???? users, maybe skincareaddict. Hopefully they'll pass by. The theory goes that CPs remove damaged proteins and stimulate collagen production, but in some people they remove the proteins more quickly or more effectively than the other. I think using Avene is also a good thing to do - anything that stimulates collagen production. Personally I'd lay off the CPs til I was over it. HTH M |

Liangzhiz, I use CP for 1 month and a few days ago I added a 2 more drops of CP and then noticed that my skin started looking very dull and unhealthy. I think I go through the uglies phase too. I'll continue using CP, but maybe every other day until my skin go back to normal. I read different opinions: some people say stop using CP until your skin goes back to normal, other say continue with CP no matter what, it's just the transition phase. Anyway, in some time uglies will go away, it's not the permanent condition that will stay forever.
