this mask was used on me in a facial, and i fell in love with it. it feels nice and soft going on, with just a little bit of graininess from the cereal (oats). it really does give a nice, hydrated feeling to your skin.
i like to use it 3 times a week at night, while i have a cup of chamomile. it makes me feel very relaxed and pampered.
any comments on other great masks would be very welcome!

I remember looking at the mask the first time and thought it looked like a bowl of oat bran. It's very soothing and good to use on my dry areas like cheeks and under the eye, everywhere else it's too much for my oily skin. |

Personally, I wasn't too impressed. I bought about 3 tubes of this back when my Bath and Body Works flagship store was discontinuing selling Decleor products, and everything was 75% off. I used the mask sporadically over the next few months - sometimes when I was just in the mood for a mask, other times when I felt my skin was looking a bit parched. Never saw any difference whatsoever. Not even that clean "glow" you typically get after a mask.
Big thumbs down from me. Then again, I don't really have very dry skin, apart from one patch (which I treat with dermatologist prescribed steroid cream). Perhaps it works better for people with very dry skin. But it didn't hydrate my face at all during those slightly drier winter months. |
