These kits come in to types: Normal, Dry, Sensitive AND Oily and blemished skin
http://www.drhauschka.com/holistic-products/face-care/
My question is...can you use the Lavender bath on your face??? It is weird to me that they include the lavender bath, toner, and cleansing cream...thus I'm assuming you can use it on your face...
I'm intrigued by this...though I wasn't crazy about the CC, but I hear people who use the entire line (and nothing else) seem to be happy with it...
I like the philosophy behind the brand...
EDIT: Does anyone use the entire line (well, make that ONLY Dr. H products) that has oily/blemish prone skin?
TIA!!! |

Seems to me I've read that a couple of drops of Lavender Bath can be used in your basin of rinse water. Don't quote me, though! |

HI Paris
I am on day 14 of using Dr. H products exclusively. I have sensitive, oily, rosacea and blemish prone skin. I am going to post a full reveiw in a few more days, but I can honestly say that after a MAJOR purge, my skin is starting to look fantastic. My pores are smaller, my blackheads are diminished, and my skintone just is more even. Overall, my skin looks happy
BUT, it has been a very unpleasant 2 weeks.
I have been using the cleansing milk, cleansing cream, normal toner, clay mask, and rhythmic night conditioner for sensitive skin.

I have oily/acne-prone skin. A few months back I converted completely over to the Dr. H system. I thought balancing the skin naturally with plenty of oils sounded brilliant, and I started using the Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Cream, Day Oil, Toner, etc etc. Unfortunately, after a month or so of this I had clogged my pores so badly, I never thought I'd get them all unclogged. Seriously, I had 20, 30, maybe 40 of those tiny, annoying bumps. I ditched all the the Dr. H stuff except for the toner, and spent some serious time detoxing my skin with NO oils--- just Zenbiotic products and Juice Beauty Green Apple Peels, combined with all the prescription meds from my derm. Finally, FINALLY, the clogged pores are mostly gone. Not all, but mostly. I know everyone's skin is different and many people swear by Dr. H, but all I can say is that if you have oily skin and are prone to acne, tread carefully. The months I spent undoing all the clogging were not fun. |

I have oily/acne prone skin and use the cleansing cream, cleansing milk, clarifying toner, normalizing day oil and clay mask. I've gone through a few of the CCs and I'm about to reorder everything else. The CC is a bit much in this dryer weather so I'm only using that in the morning and the Milk at night. I couldn't tell if I went through purging because I normally get so many break outs. Now I'm breaking out less but it hasn't stopped completely. There's a few other factors that may be playing a role in my breakouts so I didn't want to give up on Dr H just yet. My skin tone is so much better. I can really tell a difference in skin tone and color when I stop using the CC for a few days. And it does seem to keep my pores cleaner. |

I think this is so interesting manslayer liz. I know you posted on my plea for help when I was just starting to purge, and said you had real trouble with this line. But my skin has done pretty much the opposite - instead of causing more clogged pores, Dr. H has gotten rid of mine. And the only reason I have stuck with it thru the purging is because I could see the breakouts were happening right where the clogging was the worst. Gradually, it is all beginning to clear up.(I hope I haven't just jinxed myself!)
Just more proof that we all react differently, I guess! |
